I’m an elementary educator, educational consultant, and parent of a child with learning disabilities, with over 20 years of experience supporting students, families, and schools across Quebec.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Concordia University and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from McGill University, with a focus on inclusive education. Throughout my career, I have taught in diverse classrooms, worked as a pedagogical consultant, developed professional learning for educators, and advocated alongside families navigating Quebec’s public education system.

Despite my professional background, advocating for my own daughter showed me just how overwhelming and emotionally complex the education system can be. I quickly realized that expertise alone doesn’t eliminate the challenges parents face when the issue is deeply personal. That experience gave me a new perspective and reinforced an important truth: most parents don’t know what they don’t know. They aren’t lacking dedication or determination—they simply haven’t been given the knowledge, tools, or guidance needed to confidently navigate the system.

That realization became the foundation for Hive Education Consulting.

Today, I bring together lived experience, educational expertise, and a collaborative approach to help families feel informed, empowered, and confident while working in partnership with schools to help every child thrive.
